Ben started his career in Dartmouth, Devon working for his grandfather's marine electrical business. After that he went on to work for other well known marine electrical companies. Ben gained experience working on Fairline, Princess and sunseeker boats to name a few. 

He now resides in Chertsey and covers the south of England's inland waterways as a Boat Safety Scheme Examiner.
